Solution:

Spun Concrete Static Masts

Published on June 7, 2022

Client Problem:

An IOU customer was having issues with vibration and cracking on their previous steel static masts at the base plate in certain high wind areas of the country.

Solution:

We utilized concrete structures to eliminate the vibration issues experienced with steel base plates while maintaining loading requirements. In addition to performance, this offered a cost-saving solution to the customer.

Static mast concrete structures do not require additional foundations and the type of manufacturing involved leads to accelerated completion times. They are highly durable, require little to no maintenance, can be made in a variety of standard or custom sizes, and are resistant to salt and moisture.
