Project Example – Controlled Environment Construction

Published on October 12, 2021

Client Problem:

This substation is located in rural West Texas.  Rapidly changing weather conditions can cause construction delays, housing crews is difficult and project timelines are short.

Solution:

Once the Valmont CEC structure arrived on site, the installation process took about 1 ½ hours and the crews were very happy with the ease of construction.  This shaved 2-3 weeks off of the overall project schedule and saved significant time and money. Also, the subcontractor noted that they felt it was a safer method of installation over traditional builds.
